Privacy notice
This notice explains how Manor House Hotel (Okehampton) Limited ("we", "us") uses the personal information you give us when booking your dining sittings for a stay at The Manor House Hotel or The Ashbury Hotel.
What we collect
Your booking details come to us from our hotel reservation system: your name, contact details, room number, stay dates and party size. On this form you add your chosen dining times and, if you wish, allergies, dietary preferences, accessibility needs and special requests.
Health data
We treat allergy and accessibility information as health data. We use it only to keep you safe during your stay and to fulfil your booking. By submitting the form you give your explicit consent for us to use this information (UK GDPR Article 9(2)(a)); we may also rely on it to protect your vital interests in an emergency (Article 9(2)(c)).
How we use your information
We use your information to seat your party, prepare for any allergies or accessibility needs, and send you booking emails about your dining times. We do not use it for marketing, we do not sell it, and this site sets no analytics or advertising cookies.
Where your information is kept
Your information is stored on servers in the United Kingdom. Booking emails are sent through an email provider operating within the European Economic Area. The teams at our hotels see your details only as needed to deliver your stay.
How long we keep it
We keep your dining booking, including any allergy and accessibility information, for 18 months after your departure date, then delete it automatically. Administrative activity records are kept for 24 months.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or erase it. To make a request, or to change your dining details, call the hotel on the number below. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we handle your information.
